• Participating dogs must be a minimum of 8 weeks without undergoing any grooming process except bathing, drying, brushing and maintaining hygienic areas.
• Before the competition, the poodles must be a minimum of 5cm. of hair, the shaved parts may not be cut, except for the muzzle and feet.
• The dog must have enough hair to allow the groomer to make a visible change between before and after.
• Dogs must be washed, dried, knot-free, with clean ears and nails trimmed before starting the competition.
• The perianal and genital areas will be cleaned for hygiene reasons, always in line with the breed standard.
• All hairdressing techniques are allowed (scissors, machine, stripping, etc.)
• In the Poodle class all show cuts are accepted.
• The competitor is prohibited from having conversations in person or on the phone beyond asking for help for the correct functioning of his staging.
• The use of music devices is not authorized during the competition.
• The organization is not responsible for accidents caused by dogs in the competition (bites, death, illnesses, escapes…).
• Owners or participants will be responsible for the dog’s well-being throughout the event. In addition to taking responsibility for any damage or accident caused by it.
• There will be a 10-minute break in the middle of each class for the dogs to rest, walk and drink water, if desired.
• The fact of participating in this championship implies full acceptance of these regulations.
• The judges’ verdict is final.
• Any unworthy or aggressive expression towards a judge is grounds for disqualification.
• The organization reserves the right to act accordingly in situations not provided for in these regulations.

*Poodles and Scissors Category

Poodles must have a minimum of 5cm of hair.

The shaved parts (muzzle and feet) may be shaved before the championship.

All show cuts are authorized for poodles.

Top knot poodles will have an additional 15 minutes. Help may be asked from a person outside the competition to hold the dog.

The use of hairspray and cosmetics is allowed.

Coloring is not allowed

Relay competition.

3 groomers, with 40 minutes each, working on the same dog.

Technique and exemplar of free choice.

*Stripping Category / Spaniels and Setters

• Stripping blades are allowed.
• The dogs must be made according to the breed standard.
• Sprays, powders and creams are allowed in moderation
• It is not allowed to use a machine except:
  Scottish Terrier: chest, head and ears.
  West Highland Terrier: chest and ears.
  Cockers and Setters: chest and ears.
  Schnauzer: Chest, head, inside of the hind legs and ears.

Couples Competition

2 groomers, working the same dog at the same time, half each.

Free technique and competition time, the official pairs the chosen horse.
